About us
Pickles Ranch was built from the ground up—quite literally.
In 2024, founder Andrew Lange purchased his first acreage after years of hard work and persistence. When he arrived, he discovered a dog living beneath the vacant house. That dog, later named Pickles, became the heart of the ranch and the inspiration behind its name. From day one, the promise was simple: this was her ranch, and everything built here would be done with care, responsibility, and purpose.
What began as a small idea to grow dill for personal use quickly turned into something much bigger. With a passion for quality ingredients and hands-on production, Pickles Ranch began growing, harvesting, and processing its own crops—by hand, and often against challenging conditions. Despite drought, limited equipment, and long days, the first harvest was completed, laying the foundation for a brand rooted in resilience and authenticity.
Today, Pickles Ranch offers a growing lineup of handcrafted products, including dill-based seasonings and a rapidly expanding hot sauce line. Every product reflects the same values the ranch was built on: honest ingredients, hard work, and pride in being Alberta-made.
Pickles Ranch also believes in giving back. Each year, a portion of proceeds is donated to pet rescue organizations, honoring the dog that started it all and supporting animals still waiting for their second chance.
From one acre and one dog to a growing brand, Pickles Ranch is about showing up, doing the work, and building something real—one season at a time.
